Pokémon Sword and Shield Isle of Armor asks the player to search for 150 lost Alolan Diglett who have escaped and hid across the map. It is a painful and long task to undertake. We all know we only accept the mission to get the reward at the end. Whatever this reward.
What happens when you collect the 150 Alolan Diglett?
The game counts the first Alolan Diglett as a collection, so there are 151 in total and the player must go and collect the remaining 150. Aside from the technical details, there are actually several rewards for this mission. The trainer mentions early on that he caught a lot of Pokémon from the Alola region, which caused him to have over 150 Alolan Diglett missing in the first place. Turns out, the Diglett isn't the only Pokémon he's caught. All rewards are Alolan Pokémon. So if you are looking for a specific variant, this could be a good assignment to take on and complete quickly.
The rewards are distributed at intervals. First, it rewards you with five found. After 10 found, the intervals increase by 10 each time until they reach 50 found. At 50 found it will reward you again at 75 and 100 Diglett found. At 100 found, it will not reward you again until you collect the 151 Diglett. This means that we get a total of nine rewards from this task.
The rewards are below, in order:
- Alolan Meowth
- Lambin
- Alolan Vulpix
- Alolan Sandshrew
- Alolan Raichu
- Alolan Marowak
- Alolan Exeggutor
- Litten
- Alolan Diglett
It's up to you to decide if it's all worth it. Some of these are worth the time, but others are likely to sit in the PC and never see the outside of their Pokéball ever again. But it does help fill the Poké Dex. For avid collectors, this is a way to make sure you fill out a bunch of pages quickly.
