As players become more interested in MyCareer and further customize their MyPlayer player, the animations start to boil down to animation optimization, which is an important part of NBA 2K20.
The 2K franchise has slowly added more customization options for tasks like dribbling and jumping, but if you want to stop using the preset sequences or Signature Player animations, you need to unlock Jumpshot Creator. It's not difficult, but if you're not specifically looking to unlock this menu might take a while.
How to unlock the jump creator in NBA 2K20
Practice center in MyCareer mode
- Head to the neighborhood team practice center.
- Start preparing for training exercises in the facility.
- You should receive a message after five to eight exercises.
- This will give you instant access to the Jumpshot Creator menu.
- You can now access this menu again at any time by accessing the Appearance menu of MyPlayer.
This menu will allow you to completely customize the shooting animations of your players. You can mix and match the animation bases from the nearly 300 different jump base animations. Or you can combine them with the iconic jumping animations of legendary and current NBA players. You will need to purchase signature animations for dunks, blueprints, and other travel using VC.
There were also a few changes made to this creator, including the lack of an option to change the animation speed of your custom jump. This has been replaced by the addition of the Quick Draw badge, which allows shooting faster than usual.
This easy unlocking is very important if you want to tailor your MyPlayer to the way you want to play.
