League of Legends patch 10.22 patch notes
Singer Seraphine makes her League of Leagues debut with a few other changes for other players in part of patch 10.22. Full patch notes can be found on the League of Legends website or read below as well
The champions
- Seraphine
- Runeterra's first idol takes the stage in 10.22.
- Amumu
- R now stuns enemies.
- Improved the clarity of Amumu's Ultimate, which should also result in a slight increase in his mojo.
- R - Curse of the Sad Mummy
- (Update) Crowd Control: Roots and disarms enemies for 2 seconds ⇒ Stuns enemies for 2 seconds
- Annie
- E now provides a shield instead of reducing damage; shield can now be cast on target allied champions; updated shield animation; increased cost and scope; shield still applies to Tibbers when summoned
- We're giving Annie more ways to use her shield while keeping defense simple and intuitive while Annie just wants to play on her own.
- E - Molten Shield
- (New) Shield: Grants Annie 13/17/21/25/29% damage reduction for 3 seconds ⇒ Grants any target champion ally a 40/90/140/190/240 shield (+0,4 ability power) for 3 seconds (bonus Movement speed boost is applied to the protected target)
- (Update) Shield: VFX Annie's E now has new animation and visual effects better suited for other champions
- Cost: 20 mana ⇒ 40 mana
- Range: 400 (auto-cast) ⇒ 800 (auto-target or ally)
- (Update) Targeting: will be cast on an ally if they are targeted or are very close to targeting them (within a range of 225); otherwise will auto-launch
- (New) Proect Tibbers: Tibbers always gets the benefits of the shield, regardless of the target
- Ashe
- W arrows now increase by higher rank.
- Add more satisfaction and experiential variety to his main skill to achieve more success for your male ranks.
- W - Volley
- Arrow per volley: 9 at all ranks ⇒ 7/8/9/10/11
- Brand
- Passive explosion damage has been reduced. The spread of fire E now always extends to nearby enemies; increased fire spread radius; The indicator now displays the fire spread radius. Fireball R can now bounce off Brand; updated bounce priority.
- Once upon a time, Brand was a mid laner, but in recent history he has found a comfortable home for support. To give him some speed, we're throwing his offense to promote a more aggressive style of play. Additionally, we've reduced the damage percentage that Marks typically rely on to equalize their overall potency. Overall, this should help Brand feel armed to get back to the middle without going over his current strength as a support.
- Passive - Blaze
- Marked explosion damage: 12-16% (+0,015 per 100 ability power) ⇒ 10-14% (+0,02 per 100 ability power)
- E - Conflagration
- (New) Blaze Spread: Spreads to nearby units when thrown at a flaming target ⇒ Now always spreads to nearby enemies
- (Update) Flame Spread Radius: When cast at a flaming target, propagates to units within 375 ⇒ When cast at a flaming target, propagates to units below 600. When cast at a blazing target 'it is launched at a normal target, spread to units within a radius of 300.
- (New) Blaze Spread Radius Indicator: Now displays a brief spread range indicator
- R – Pyroclasme
- (New) Fireball Source: Pyroclasm can now bounce towards the mark
- (Update) Bounce Priority: Enemy Champions> Mark> Any valid bounce targets
- Gallium
- E now has a minimum dash distance.
- A change in consistency to ensure players don't accidentally cast their dash, while still giving Galio's enemies more opportunities to dodge it.
- E - Hallmark of justice
- (New) Wind It Up: Justice Punch now has a minimum distance of 250 dashes (from origin E, not from the scoreboard)
- Jinx
- The E now deals all damage in advance.
- This clarity adjustment on Jinx's Chompers should provide more noticeable and appreciable damage.
- E - Flame chompers!
- (Updated) Explosion Burn: Deals damage over 1,5 seconds ⇒ Deals all damage up front
- Karthus
- Base damage of Q reduced.
- Karthus is too reliable of a choice of jungle, mid and bot because he can permashove waves and permaclear camps with little to no expense. We're reducing his ability to deal sustained damage and gain massive leads so his opponents have a chance to fight back.
- Q – Lay Waste
- Base damage: 50/70/90/110/130 ⇒ 45/65/85/105/125
- The White
- The cost of E has decreased; The base damage of E has been increased; The delayed damage of E has been increased.
- Smoke and mirrors aside, LeBlanc has been in a weak spot across the board. We're giving him another trick up his sleeve by spicing up one of his most underwhelming and underrated abilities. This should encourage players to rely more on his E, which is often left in the first row until the end of the game.
- E - Ethereal chains
- Lulu
- Q's base damage decreased later.
- Top Lulu does too well in the Skilled game, and all that glitters is not gold. We're reducing his scale damage to lessen his ability to constantly harass opponents and Waveclear.
- Q – Glitterlance
- 80/125/170/215/260 ⇒ 80/115/150/185/220
- Nasus
- R bonus resistances have been increased; bonus resistances per second are removed.
- One final clarity check, this time to make Nasus' Ultimate more intuitive. We also don't think he would be able to withstand the global buff.
- R - Fury of the Sands
- Bonus resistances: 15/35/55 ⇒ 40/55/70
- (Removed) Bonus Resistances Per Second: Nasus no longer gains 1/2/3 bonus resistances per second
- Samira
- Reduced base attack damage and armor.
- Samira quickly made her mark as a powerful ADC capable of effortless slicing, punching, and rushing into a snowball head. We are removing some of its initial combat power to reduce its reliability.
- Basic statistics
- Attack Damage: 59 ⇒ 57
- Armor: 28 ⇒ 26
- Sejuani
- R base and max damage increased.
- The jungle meta turned a cold shoulder to Sejuani. It's finally time to love our favorite boar and free Sejuani and Bristle from their glacial prison cages.
- R - Glacial Prison
- Base damage: 100/125/150 ⇒ 125/150/175
- Maximum damage: 150/250/350 ⇒ 200/300/400 (same values for explosion damage)
- Xayah
- Increased base attack speed.
- The current sniper ecosystem has not been well suited for this marker. We are improving his ability to let his feathers fly.
- Basic statistics
- Attack Speed Growth: 3,3% ⇒ 3,9%
- Zed
- E's base damage is reduced later.
- Reducing some of Zed's reliable damage so that he has to rely more on other parts of his kit to catch you.
- E - Shadow cut
- Base damage: 70/95/120/145/170 ⇒ 70/90/110/130/150
Animal range indicators
- We've added range indicators for Champion Clones and Pets that retract when going beyond their range. The indicator is centered around the clone / animal and will only appear when the unit is within 500 yards of the teleportation leash.
- Shaco
- R - Hallucinate: Added for the clone.
- Annie
- R - Invocation; Tibbers !: Added for the familiar (Tibbers).
Clash updates
- Clash teams can now receive up to 20 invites at a time. Once your team is full, all open invites will be canceled. In addition, the Shadow Isles Cup schedule is now live in the client! Note that it takes place after the end of the season next month, so the VP you earn does not count towards the end of season 2020 rewards. We will let you know when the tournament VP starts counting towards the rewards of end of season 2021.

Bug fixes / quality of life changes
- Pinging Kai'Sa's abilities once they've evolved will notice it in the chat
- Fixed bug with Rengar's R - Thrill of the Hunt warning SFX and its SFX growl near targets
- Yuumi's Q - Prowling Projectile now correctly triggers Manaflow Band
- PsyOps Kayle's R - Divine Judgment no longer triggers a series of screen flashes when activated.
- Fizz's R - Chum the Waters SFX no longer audible in Fog of War
- If you select a different Eternal Series, the player's ranked border no longer displays on the loading screen.
- Fixed some ability queuing issues with LeBlanc's R - Mimic (distortion)
- Akali's E - Shuriken Flip redesign will no longer unravel if she tries to reactivate it too quickly after scoring her W - Twilight Shroud
- Sentinels Q - Crescendum of Aphelios are no longer pushed towards Zion when he launches E - Roar of the killer
- Certain Ziggs E - Hexplosive Minefield skins now display correctly on impassable terrain
- Rift Herald's unique global SFX now plays correctly on death, even if a team has no vision on it
