What time does the 12 days of friendship event start and end
Niantic doesn't seem to like giving a lot of time for these events with the players, so you can be quite confused as to when this event starts and ends. Well, by the time you read this, it's probably already started, unless you're really quick. The Pokémon GO 12 Days of Friendship event begins today, Wednesday, November 18 at 13 p.m. PT and runs until Monday, November 30 at 13 p.m. PT.
This gives you twelve full days to participate in all the entertainment and bonuses. What are these bonuses?
What happens during the 12 Days of Friendship event
Everything about the Pokémon GO 12 Days of Friendship event centers around the in-game friendship mechanic. Hope you have a long list of friends, but if you don't, you can add a lot by looking for local players or via Discord, Reddit and other sites. Once you have them, here's everything that happens during the event.
- Friendship levels will increase faster than normal through gifts, trades and fights
- Friends who fight together in raids will get an extra boost for their attack
- Raids will reward extra XP
- Players can open more gifts per day than normal (we assume double)
- A free remote Raid Pass is available in the store
- A special timed search will be available during the event (see more in our guide when available)
