Pokémon Sword and Shield DLC Isle of Armor has brought many old favorites to the game and expanded Poké Dex. Happiny, Chansey's pre-evolution, is one of those Pokémon. Whether it's to complete the Poké Dex or because it's cute, getting Happiny can be a bit tricky. It is not difficult, it is long.
How to have fun on the Isle of Armor
Happiny must be hatched from an egg. Players will first need to catch a Chansey. They spawn in the wild area of the Isle of Armor. They are temperamental so approach them slowly or they will run away.
After catching a Chansey, fly to Hulbury and go to the market area. Buy Lucky Incense and give it to your Chansey. By giving Chansey Luck incense to hold while you are at daycare, the resulting egg will be a Happiny instead of a Chansey.
In addition to Chansey with Lucky Incense, players will need a ditto. Chansey is a female-only species of Pokémon. The only way to reproduce them is with a ditto. It is likely that now the players already have a Ditto in their possession.
Bring Chansey and Ditto to your daycare of preference. Eventually, they will have an egg. Cycle in circles for the hatch, as you normally would. If you have a Pokémon with Flame Body, put it in your party to halve the number of steps it takes to hatch the eggs.
Once the egg is ready to hatch, you will have a brand new Happiny Baby.
