How to get and use Silver Capsule in Pokémon Sword and Shield

How to get and use Silver Capsule in Pokémon Sword and Shield

Silver Caps are an easy to forget item that you will come across in Pokémon Sword and Shield. They fall into your treasure-in-your-bag category, which by default is often a great way to make a quick buck. However, they have an additional use, and that maximizes an individual value (IV) of one of your level 100 Pokémon.

You have several options for capturing these useful elements. The Silver Capsule are available in the Battle Tower for Battle Points (BP) and cost 25 BP each. You can find the vendor at the battle tower on the left side in the middle. It takes time to acquire 25 BP, so don't rush the process.

Another simple method is to supply 500 watts to the Digging duo, located in the wilderness area next to the Bridge Field nursery. One of these duos will start digging into those 500 watts and they will have a chance to release a Silver Capsule. They could also remove other items. You must therefore use this method several times before showing a Silver Capsule.

Players reported that when they had a high level Pokémon with the collecting ability, they found a Silver Capsule during their journey. It's not a bad idea to run around with a single Pokémon with the Pickup ability that's almost at level 100 to try this out, but it won't always happen.

Once you have beaten the game, another method of acquiring Silver Capsule is to conduct Max Raid Battles or Ranked Ranked Battles. Both methods are viable, but you want to have the best Pokemon available to follow these paths.

When you have several Silver Capsules, return to the battle tower and talk to the vendors on the right side of the building. Talk to them, and they're ready to accept a level 100 Pokémon with Hyper Training, but only if they are level 100. Upon returning, Pokémon should have a maximum IV.
