On this occasion it will be necessary to download the application from an external page, which can be accessed via the following Ubuntu Tweak link. It is a file that weighs very little, so the installation should be quite fast, in any case it will be necessary to install the App, a process that can be done as follows:
- Open a terminal, so it must be inside the folder where you downloaded the Ubuntu Tweak installation file.
- This can be done very easily by using the following "ls" command so that all Ubuntu base folders will be displayed. Now type the command «cd Downloads /», press Enter and type the following code «Downloads /ls».
- Now you need to install the file, which you do with the command “sudo dpkg –t” followed by the name of the file, now press Enter.
Use the app
Now that you've installed the application, it's time to start using it for delete correctly all those unnecessary files and thus freeing up space on your hard drive within Ubuntu.
- After the previous process you will have installed Ubuntu Tweak, now you just need to run it.
