The Minecraft Caves & Cliffs update adds several peaceful creatures to the game for the summer of 2021, like Axolotls and Glow Squids… this is not one of them. The Guardian is the most powerful hostile mob outside of boss level enemies like the dragon Ender or Wither.
The creature has around 100 health and deals 15 damage hearts in a single attack. That said, there are ways to find this creature and take it down.
Find a Guardian

The one shown to us in the preview was pictured next to a new type of underground structure, suggesting that the mob is related to the structure's generation, just like the Piglin Brute, and will not reappear after its defeat. .
Just as seeing glittering berries means you might be near Axolotls, if you find a gray structure filled with breasts decorated with glittering candles and sculk blocks deep in a cave, this insidious creature may very well be in the midst of you.

Without armor, you can be killed with a single hit. With the best armor in the game, you can be killed in two hits. If you want to take this creature down, try setting up a blockade that it cannot cross, luring it towards the blockade with snowballs, and then shooting arrows at it from a safe distance.
It is a good idea to bring a bow enchanted by the infinite enchantment, so as not to exhaust your resources.
