During today's Pokemon Direct special, Nintendo revealed a surprise remake - the return of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team Games.
In March, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX will arrive on Nintendo Switch. It will have a nice overview of the original adventures, with new visuals and other fun surprises.
A demo is now available for Nintendo Switch, and the data will transfer to the full game when it is released. But how do you get your hands on the demo? Well, there are two ways to do it.
Download it from Nintendo eShop
Finding the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX demo is a snap on the eShop. Start it, then search for the game in the search bar. (Or look in the main menu, as it may be available there since Nintendo Direct just happened.)
You will see two different options available - the ability to pre-order the game and the option to download the demo. Go ahead and grab the second one, and the demo should start downloading to your system.
Download it online
Say you're at work and away from your Nintendo Switch right now, or you're too busy to get your hands on the console. Don't worry, there is another way to get the demo so you won't miss it.
If you visit this page you will find the official profile of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. At the very top, you'll see a pre-purchase option for $ 59,99. But just below you will see the words "Demo available" in white. Click on it and, if your device and account are synced together, you'll automatically start downloading the demo, so it's ready to go when you get home.
Either way, the demo will be easy to download and explore. Just keep one thing in mind - it's pretty big. The demo is around 2,1GB in size, so make sure you have enough space to accommodate your game library.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX will be released on March 6. Check out the first trailer below.
