Borderlands 3: How to use photo mode

Like all modern games, Borderlands 3 comes with a photo mode that you can access to take pictures of your mishaps and the many activities in the game. Here's how to access it when you are in the middle of your campaign.

How to use photo mode in Borderlands 3

You have two ways to access photo mode while playing the game. For those who use a controller, you will only be able to use one method to access photo mode, while those who play on the PC with a mouse and a keyboard have two.

The universal way to open photo mode is to tap and scroll the menu screen. This will be the fourth option, just under the settings. You are going to be thrown into the in-game photo mode in the middle of everything you do. You're going to want to take a break at some point in the game when you find something you want to capture, or you're in the middle of a heated battle.

Now, if you are using a mouse and keyboard, you have a specific key to open the mode. When you press the "P", you will open photo mode. Some may have accidentally hit it while being caught in the middle of a fight. You may have already known this. You can change the keyboard shortcut at any time by going to the "Options" menu and selecting "Controls" to change how your buttons work.

When you open photo mode, you will have access to various options. You can change the field of view, change the perspective of the camera away from your character, add film grain, change the time of day, change the overall visual effects of the game, and more. None of the options you change in photo mode will transfer to your current file while you play. So play with the settings of your choice.

Have fun, Vault Hunters, and take lots of pictures.
