With Halloween just around the corner, there are plenty of events planned for different games. But one of the most anticipated is for the hit mobile game Pokemon Go! Halloween is no stranger to the augmented reality Pokémon game, as it had its fair share of Halloween time the year before. And like last year, players can find and catch some Pokemon with Halloween costumes. Like the Gen 1 entries with cute little hats.
Aside from the charming aesthetic, one of the biggest strengths of Halloween is the goals and research results. Normally, in-game research objectives allow players to capture specific Pokémon and earn some Pokeballs or certain fruits to help them catch small creatures. Last year we caught some Ghost-type Pokemon. With this year you have another chance to meet the Pokemon ghost known as Spiritomb.
For the missions, Professor Willow found a strange stone which he brought back to his laboratory. Since then, however, strange things have started to happen: the glasses have started to fall off, the papers have moved on their own. When he checks his computer, the error message "108" flashes. Now it's players' turn to gather data on nearby Ghost-type Pokémon.
There are 3 steps to unlock the "Scary Message" and capture the Spiritomb.
Step 1:
Catch 10 Ghost Pokemon (Duskull Encounter)
Mae 8 Grands Lancer (1080 EXP)
Use 108 berries to catch Pokémon (Lickitung Encounter)
Rewards: x10 Pokeballs, x1080 Stardust, x8 Pinap Silver Berries
Step 2:
Catch 10 Pokemon Dark-Type (Misdreavous Encounter)
Spin 8 Pokestops you've never done before (1080 experience points)
Catch 108 Pokemon (Spiritomb Encounter)
Rewards: x10 Pokeballs, x1080 Stardust, x8 Pinap Silver Berries
Step 3:
It's claiming the rewards Professor Willow will give you for completing the previous two tasks and obtaining Spiritomb.
Rewards: x1080 Stardust, 3 x 1080 EXP, x18 Candy Spiritomb
the Pokemon Go! The Halloween event is live from October 17 to November 1.
