With its aluminum case, available in five colors, this player has a decidedly elegant appearance and fits comfortably in the hand.
The only annoying thing is the glass front, slightly protruding and covering the same Retina display present on the iPhone 5.
Compared to previous iPod and iPhone models, this one nuovo iPod Touch it is about 1 centimeter higher (it went from 111 to 123,4 millimeters). The thickness has instead reduced: now the device is only 6,1 mm thick and with its 88 grams and extremely light. Thanks to the resolution of 1.136 640 pixels x, the display shows the contents extremely sharply and with vibrant colors.
Thanks to its size, similar to that of a portable console, playing a movie or playing games like FIFA 13 or Asphalt 7 with the iPad touch is really a pleasure.
Compared to the previous model, the camera integrated is 5 megapixel instead of 0,7 and allows you to take quality photos and shoot videos in Full HD.
Instead, the GPS so you will only be able to geotag the photos taken if they are in the vicinity of a WLAN. Also to locate your position on the maps, you will have to resort to a WLAN. On the back of the player you can attach the useful “iPod touch loop”, a wrist strap matching the color of the iPod that allows you to hold the device more securely.
As with the iPhone 5, the dock connector used to date to connect the iPod to USB cables and stereos has been replaced by the connector lightning. The player can also be used with docking stations not of the latest generation, but you will have to spend another 29 Euros to get the appropriate adapter.
Apple, with the new iPod Touch, has taken even further the level of quality that competitors must strive for in order to qualify as such. Despite the innovative technologies used, the cost of € 319 remains quite high. The iPod nano is the cheaper alternative for music-loving sports fans.
