Cause of problem
The causes of the temporary block can be different, but they all depend on the violation of some limits. In many cases, this ban does not completely prohibit us from accessing our account, but it does not allow us to perform certain functions. For example, we will no longer be able to follow new people, to comment o mettere like, as in our case.
Usually, who uses bot to increase likes and followers automatically is more likely to be a victim of this problem. However, this does not mean that those who do not use bots cannot in any way risk being banned. Instagram, in fact, imposes gods limits to the actions that are permitted to us. Unfortunately, they are not officially declared by the company and concern the maximum number of people we can follow and the number of likes and comments we can put. They also vary according to the type of account. If we do not respect one of the following limits, the problem is due to this reason.
Limits for likes and comments
There is no specific limit regarding the number of daily likes that we can put back. It is determined based on the number of follow actions that we carry out per day. So, the more people we follow and the more likes we can put, obviously remaining within the limits seen above. As for the comments, however, we recommend not to exceed 200 comments per day.
Limiti per i follow/unfollow
- For new profiles (born less than 3 months): from 300 to 350 maximum follow / unfollow per day for the first week from the creation of the profile. They will increase by about 50/70 every week until reaching the maximum of 800 daily follow / unfollow.
- For profiles born more than 3 months ago and with more than 1.000 followers: 45 follow / unfollow per hour and maximum 1.000 per day.
Duration of the ban
The duration of the temporary block may vary based on the limits we have broken. Usually, the duration of the ban is approximately from 24 hours up. This means that to have the chance to like again, we have to wait more or less a day. Once the block is finished, it is essential not to break the limits again, as at that point Instagram could decide to delete the account directly.
Solutions to the temporary block
It may seem trivial, but the only solution to fix the problem after the ban is expect. As we said earlier, Instagram usually unlocks an account after around 24 hours. Usually we are given a second chance, so as not to repeat the mistakes of the past again. For this reason, it is essential to wait a few days before resuming normal activity. If the function that has been denied us is that of the ability to like, we can safely continue to follow people and comment on photos, always remaining within the limits listed above.
Tips to avoid the ban
I advice to avoid these unpleasant situations are few and simple. First of all, we absolutely do not recommend the use of bots that automate actions, or at least reduce the number of daily actions if we can't do without them. Also, it is advisable not to overdo it with follow / unfollow, likes and comments, as we can easily be identified as bot o spammer from the well-known social network. Finally, if we are using bots, make sure to disable them before carrying out any manual operations.
Once the ban period is over, it is advisable to significantly reduce the number of operations on the social network, as from that moment on Instagram will use an iron fist at least in the first period. It is therefore a good idea to wait a few days before resuming our normal activities.
