Fortnite now has several vehicles you can drive, from cars and vans to massive trucks. Just like in the real world, cars don't run on Hopes and Dreams, and you'll have to find gas if you want to keep driving on the map. There are two ways to refuel your car, and it may be a little trick to understand at first.
Fuel pumps
The main track is at the gas pumps, at one of the many gas stations located all over the map. Drive your vehicle carefully and park near a gas pump. If you crash into it it will explode, so be extra careful. Face the gas pump and press the guest interaction button and you will grab the grip, then face your car and pull the trigger you normally use to fire your weapon.
Gas will start to squirt out of the pipe and once you get close enough to the car, it will start to fill it. You will see a percentage counter increase when it is working. When the car is full, jump in and go. If you walk too far from a pump while holding the handle, it will simply reset, so make sure you park close enough to the pump to fill your car.
Gas cans
You can also find red gas cans all over the map. These can be stored in your inventory if you collect them and will allow you to refuel in a car wherever you are, making them perfect for off-roading in the game. '' have at least one in your inventory if you plan to drive a difficult route around the map, as you might not end up near a gas station and run out of fuel.
