The new Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 update is all about spies and secret agents where you fight minions, infiltrate enemy strongholds, and disguise yourself as them. One notable secret agent in video games comes from the Metal Gear franchise created and developed by Hideo Kojima, where the main character, Solid Snake, used his superior skills to sneak around to trick his enemies into letting him pass them unnoticed. It used a very fancy and elaborate cardboard box, and now you can do the same in Fortnite.
You can't hide in every box. You must first approach a cardboard box to see if it is right for you. When you get close to it, you should be given the option to hide in it, and if you do, you can then access it and hide among the content. While you hide the box, you can walk around with it, hiding your presence. As you move, your legs come out from the bottom and you can slowly creep into the landscape to try to squeeze your way through.
There are cardboard boxes that you can find in the world, and then there are some that you can loot. If you loot a set of cardboard boxes, you receive five. Hold it and then throw it to the ground. When you do, you have to jump into the box and you can start sneaking around. These boxes are perfect if you can use them in the middle of a city where they are reasonably common. Otherwise, a box in the middle of a field looks a bit out of place.
Unfortunately, not all skins will be able to hide completely inside. For example, Agent Peely's skin has the top of his head sticking out if you wear it and hide inside the box. You might want to try a test to see if the unique Fornite skin you are wearing is hiding entirely inside the box. If it doesn't, you might need to be a little creative with the way you tilt it, so enemy players won't get suspicion.
