This time we change the scenario slightly and, instead of testing the speed of a site, Google plans to allow users to test the speed of their Internet connection directly from the results page of research.
According to a recent report, it would be enough to write in the search field phrases such as "check internet speed" or "speed test" or similar to view a card which allows you to perform on the fly one speed test using the tools of Google Measurement Lab.
This test transfers less than 40MB for most users, which may increase in the case of particularly fast Internet connections.
Therefore, the Mountain View big could soon introduce an extremely powerful tool - and extremely used - by many, among the search results, eliminating users inconvenient to have to go to special portals or download special software (with all due respect to those who manage those software and those portals).
Maybe, who knows, one day it will be enough to simply type "speed test" to immediately view - and without clicking elsewhere - the result of the test on the connection!
