One of the most recent Google Maps additions will come in handy. How many times have you forgotten things and then pinned everything on your calendar, smartphone, diary or post-it on the refrigerator? Maybe at times you have promised, and then forgotten, to send an e-mail to your friend or relative with your favorite destinations, useful for visiting characteristic places and not to be missed.
All of this is now just a bad memory because with Google Maps it's easy create and share a list of favorite places or places to visit. In fact, you can create lists of places, share them and even follow the lists that friends and family share with you.
And to do all this you just need your Android smartphone or tablet or your iOS device (iPhone or iPad).

How to create a list of places to share
Open the Google Maps app and choose a restaurant, pub, bar or place on the map that you absolutely intend to try. Touch the name and then the "Save"To add it to one of the preset lists on the app, for example"To visit"And"Add to Wishlist".
Of course you can also create a personalized list and then choose the name you prefer. Now to return to the lists you have created, from the main page of Google Maps go to "Your places”In the side menu and open the saved tabs.
The beauty comes now: you can share your list with friends (via message, email, social network and through messaging apps) and in addition to viewing it, your friends can click on the "Follow”To tap into the list of your favorite places whenever they need it.
In my case I advised my friends to visit theHighlander Irish Pub of Cava de 'Tirreni, the best pub in my city. In this way, those who come to visit me will be able to follow my list of places to visit absolutely and not miss anything.
How it works
The lists you decide to follow will always be with you within Google Maps, visible from both mobile and desktop devices, too when you have no connection. In this way, when you have to face a trip, you just have to download the offline maps of the area of your interest in advance to have the places you have added to the lists just a tap or click away.
Thanks to the lists, you can enter places of historical importance, restaurants, shops and many other points of interest on Google Maps. You will be spoiled for choice.
