Each Sentinel Crystal Ability
There are six Sentinel Crystal abilities to unlock. Each of these abilities is unlocked by getting both buffs to the left and right of it on the upgrade screen.
- Quickch Belch - Flame Belch takes less time to cool down.
- Booty magnet - The reductions in resources are drawn from much further.
- Napalm Belch - Heavy and super heavy demons stay on fire longer.
- Blood health - As long as you are at your maximum health points, all health points contribute to Blood Punch.
- Belch Armor Boost - Demons drop armor faster.
- Blood armor - As long as you are at maximum armor, all armor pickups contribute to Blood Punch
Better Sentinel Crystal Abilities in Doom Eternal
Of course, these upgrades come down to personal preferences and playstyle at the end of the day, but there are a few that are better to have sooner rather than later. Quickch Belch Reduces the cooldown of one of your most useful abilities, so having it early is extremely useful. If you are committed to using the Flame Belch often, then hang the Napalm Belch upgrade to keep mighty demons in flames longer so you have a bigger window to get that sweet armor blast. Blood health is another great choice. Blood Punch is charged via glory attacks, and this skill allows the extra health from a glory kill that would normally be wasted to go in place of your Blood Punch charge. Each passive ability is useful on its own, but these three will be especially useful in the early hours of Doom Eternal.
