The best Pokémon for the Ultra League in January and February 2021
The Ultra League will be the star arena from January 25 and run until February 8. During this time, your battles in GO Battle League will be limited to only those of 2500 CP or less. Of course, you'll want to get as close to that limit as possible to maximize all of your stats, thus increasing the odds of winning.
One big change for GO Battle League Season 6 is the inclusion of XL Pokémon. These are Pokémon that you spend Candy XL on to get them above level 40. However, given their rarity, we have chosen not to include them in the list below. If you have enough Candy XL to power some of them, we recommend that you focus on Registeel, Abomasnow, Galarian Stunfisk, Mandibuzz or Umbreon. And another important note is that Shadow Pokémon are almost always better than the standard versions, as long as you remove Frustration.
