Finally, even in the city it is possible to create advertisements through Google Home, the smart speaker of the Mountain View company. For the uninitiated, the announcements are audio messages that are recorded by a device, at the request of the user, and sent to all the smart speakers in the home, or in any case those connected to the same account. In this guide we will see how to do it, also taking advantage of the application mobile per Android e iOS.
Send ads using the Google Home app
The best use of ads is obviously that "without hands", or using the Google Home (or Nest Home) present in the house and connected to a power source. To do this, just call the assistant with the usual sentence "Okay, Google" and then repeat "Send an ad to the whole house". If the assistant can actually identify other smart speakers in the house, it will activate the microphone and start recording the audio message, otherwise it will give a message like "Unable to send an ad".
If, on the other hand, you want to take advantage of the application, just open the app "Google Home" on an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet, log in with your credentials, move to the main section and click on the button "Announcement" up.
At this point the Google assistant will wake up and ask which message you want to send. Here it will only be necessary to dictate the message, which will not be transcribed, but sent as a real voice message. Obviously everything will then be reproduced as always on all smart speakers in the home.
