What are Mysterious Treasures?
Before explaining that, let's explain what Mysterious Treasures or technical machines are in Pokemon Sword and Shield. They've been on the show for a long time, but new players may wonder why they're so important. Essentially, TMs teach a new move to a compatible Pokémon, often replacing an old one in their lineup. They can be reused, so don't hesitate to teach and teach your heart again. But to do that you must have them, so let's explain where to find Mysterious Treasures.
Where to buy Mysterious Treasures
The majority of the Mysterious Treasures you find throughout your time in Sword and Shield will come from random NPCs. Chat with everyone to make sure you get all the Mysterious Treasures you can. We will not go into all of these locations in this guide as there are too many of them and some are still being found. We would like to highlight two points, as these are the best places to buy Mysterious Treasures in Sword and Shield.
The first is the Pokemon Center in Motostoke. This massive industrial city is one of the first places you can buy TMs. Head inside the Pokemon Center and head to the counter on the right. Instead of the usual seller, there will be two. The one on the right will offer a wide selection of TMs. But there is still one more point to know if you want to buy Mysterious Treasures.
The Battle Tower is a post-game feature found in Wyndon, giving accomplished champions a chance to fight against extremely powerful trainers. As you do, you'll earn BP which you can then spend at a nearby store to purchase Mysterious Treasures. This is not in BP's standard store, but rather in a separate store on the far right. Talk to the woman standing there and you will find a lot of moves you may want.
And this is where you can buy Mysterious Treasures in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
