Zitz, Rash, and Pimple will be making their long-time return Battletoads launches on August 20. The toad trio are getting their first standalone game in 26 years, and longtime fans and newcomers alike will want to play it when it hits PC and Xbox One in a few weeks.
For those who play exclusively on PC, you should know Battletoads' PC Requirements. As with any PC port, the minimum and recommended specifications have been established by the development team so that you know if your system can run Battletoads. Set your attitude to "cool" and let's see what specs you need.
Battletoads Minimum PC Specifications
- Operating system - Windows 10
- Processor - Intel Pentium G620
- Memo - 8 Go the RAM
- Graphic card - Nvidia GTX 650 or AMD R7 250x
- DirectX – Version 11
- Storage room - 15 GB
The above specs shouldn't be too far off, even for the less demanding PC gamer. The 8GB of RAM will probably be your biggest hurdle, so make sure your PC has the required memory. Otherwise you will find that the gameplay will stutter a lot, if not completely freeze on you.
Battletoads Recommended System Requirements
- Operating system - Windows 10
- Processor - AMD Phenom II x4 965
- Memo - 8 Go the RAM
- Graphic card - Nvidia GTX 650Ti or AMD R7 260
- DirectX – Version 11
- Storage room - 15 GB
There isn't much of a difference between the minimum and recommended specs. You'll need a better graphics card to really make Battletoads pop, and a faster processor to play it at its optimal level.
You can check the specifications of your PC by going to the Settings app. After opening this, head to "System" and then scroll down the left column until you see the "About" section. Click on it, scroll down to the main page and you will see your PC configuration. You can check your specifications against both requirements from here.
