Spy Games is an upcoming event in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season as well which was revealed in update 12.20. While the event is not yet live in-game, you can now interact with the Ghost Vs Shadow computer in the main Battle Pass tab of the game menus, and you can get mode information.
The mode is currently scheduled to go live on March 19, along with the new weekly challenges. The new Deadpool challenges will then go live on March 20.
The mode will focus on playing back Operations matches and securing Intel for whatever side you choose. Every piece of Intel you collect will help unlock Tech Tree Tech on the side you choose to support. This unlocked technology can then be used in Operation matches.
You can also change which side you support at any time, allowing you to collect all tech for both sides. It seems to be quite long, even depending on how much tech seems to exist.
How to select your faction
To select your faction, simply go to the computer in the main Battle Pass screen, then select either Ghost or Shadow. You can change your allegiance at any time by clicking on the “Redeem” button, pictured above.
Spy games challenges
Spy Games will have associated challenges, which you can find below.
- Win a match in Operation matches (0/1)
- Deal damage to players in Operation matches (0/1000)
- Eliminate players in Operation matches (0/10)
How to unlock new technology
You can unlock new technologies by playing Ops matches and gathering Intel. As you unlock each level, you then move on to the next level.
