How to Open Google / Bixby Voice Search
Press and hold the "Select" key to call up Google or Bixby search. You can then use one of the supported voice commands. Once the button is pressed and held, you will hear a beep and the Google screen will appear.
Through the voice command it will be possible to open apps, play a specific music track or check traffic and weather.
Here are some examples of voice commands you can use with your phone:
- "Check missed calls"
- "Open Camera"
- "Play AWOLNATION"
- “Register you”
- "Find pizzeria"
- "Destination Chicago"
- "Check the weather"
- "Appointment for lunch tomorrow at 12"
- "Call my wife"
The amount of commands is infinite. Understands the keywords in any sentence that is provided.
How to Control Music
Most music apps support the feature to control music from headphones.
- Volume Up / Down can be used to change the volume
- To press " Select ”Once to pause or stop the music
- Press twice " Select ”To go forward to the next track
- Press three times " Select ”To go back to the previous track
You can also use the buttons to control music even while using other applications.
Telephone calls
- To press " Select ”Once to answer a call
- To press " Select " once during a call to hang up
If you've lost the Samsung-supplied headphones, there are many third-party headphones available with the same three-button configuration and will work the same as the original headphones.
