The update weighs in at around 7,4GB on PS4. The fix has already been rolled out to PC, and Xbox One owners can expect to see it in their download queue the week of October 26. The console version of this patch also includes patch Y5S3.2 which was released for the PC version of the game on October 5, so this patch notes list is a bit longer than the PC notes list.

Balancing

  • As
    • Reduced the number of explosive ticks of the SELMA Aqua Breacher to 2 ticks (from 3).
  • Gel
    • Added ITA12S as a secondary weapon.
  • Glaz
    • Reduced vision recovery time to 0,4s (from 1s).
    • Movement penalty reduced from 50% to 12s (was 6s).
  • Melusi
    • The primary MP5 will replace the T-5. The optics available on the MP5 will be the red dot, holography and reflex.
  • Oryx
    • The T-5 primary will replace the MP5. The optics available on the T-5 will be the red dot, holographic, reflex, and 1,5x scope.
  • Ballistic shields
    • The Guard Break effect occurs when Operators with a Ballistic Shield are hit by an explosion or take certain types of damage (from a scale of a minimum of 50 to trigger Guard Break to 100 damage).
    • The severity of the guard break is proportional to the damage done to the shield. Electrical damage and the minimum 50 damage threshold will trigger the minimum force guard breaking animation.
    • Melee damage, concussion effects, sound blasts, and blasts of 100 damage or more will trigger the maximum force guard breaking animation.
    • Operators placed behind a Clash, Monty, Blitz or Fuze are now also partially protected from explosion damage (this still applies even if they belong to the opposing team). This protection also applies if the screen is on the operator's back. Explosion damage is calculated proportionally based on the operator's exposure to the explosion.
    • Instead of folding Mountain's expandable shield, it now serves as a break-guard animation.
    • Shield explosion protection reduced to 66% (was 80%).
  • TCSG12 + ACS12
    • Damage reduction is now more gradual to reach minimum damage at 50m (was 20m).
    • Damage at maximum range has been increased to 68% (was 48%).
    • Suppressor damage penalty normalized to -12,5% ​​regardless of range.

Gameplay updates

  • Defuse interaction changes that allow players to recover defuse, even in situations where it might have been originally unreachable, due to falling into hard-to-reach spaces.
  • Chat filter feedback system improvements.
  • The ban ticker has been disabled for custom games. It will remain visible in all other game modes.
