Review of Noctua NH-D15 from CHROMAX Kit

 

Noctua it is a brand that absolutely does not need introductions: in terms of dissipation it is the top of the top.

For years i the destroyer of the night like fans and thermal compounds, they represent a choice of absolute reliability and quality for passionate users.

Yet there is one thing he has often rowed against Noctua and that has never managed to capture the hearts of 100% of users: the traditional color of the components.

Noctua was born as an Austrian brand, founded in 2005, and since then its key feature that makes it famous all over the world is the brownish color of the fans.

This has helped to increase and affirm the image of the brand.

 

However, for that slice of users who could not completely like the color of the fans it was not easy to make the branded articles become Noctua part of the gaming setup.

Ma Noctua as a great brand it has been able to reinvent itself also in this respect: after years of tradition it has opened the doors to products that can capture anyone's attention!

Noctua and the Chromax Kit • The revolution

La Noctua's Chromax product line represents an opportunity to customize any product in such a way as to make it aesthetically compatible with the PC configuration in which it is being inserted.

I can reassure you that the quality of Chromax products like that of Noctua products in general is of the highest level.

 

With the release of the dissipation fans black (and white, presented at Computex 2019), Noctua takes a further step forward especially from an aesthetic point of view.

Nothing to complain about the quality of the fans, which in general, as we have already said, is among the best I have ever had the pleasure of having in my hands so far.

In our configuration in white color however we used the Chromax fans black colored model A15-HS which you can buy below.

 

Il air cooler and of important dimensions, therefore it is essential to verify that it can be installed in total tranquility inside the PC case.

Tale air cooler consists of ben 6 heatpipes and it is a dual tower. It is therefore designed to offer the best possible performance on an air system.

Direct descendant of the award-winning NH-D14 it shares some features while others have been improved to increase performance.

Noctua NH-D15 Review • Assembly & Temperature Test

One of the key strengths of this Noctua NH-D15 it is undoubtedly the extreme simplicity with which the heatsink itself is assembled.

Years of studies have brought to completion the SecuFirm2 Mounting Kit system. A system that makes practicality and simplicity its strong point.

Among the many air coolers and liquid that I happened to mount since I became passionate aboutNH-D15 it is certainly among the best, if not the best air cooler, in terms of ease of installation.

In fact, it took me a few minutes by following the instructions on the manuals to correctly apply the dissipation device.

The combo with the NT-H1 thermal paste it pays off in terms of performance.

In the graph below, a comparison is made between 3 air coolers all tested on the same platform.

As you can see from the recent ones test made by the editorial staff ForAppsLovers.com il Noctua NH-D15 it performed remarkably well compared to its competitors in the sector.

It stands up to the product Noctua NH-D15 the one issued by Be Quiet which, however, appears to be somewhat at a disadvantage compared to the Austrian brand.

Well what about the Noctua NH-D15 and its Kit Chromax Accompanying?

The award-winning air cooler does its honest job, amazing performance, after all, it's what you expect from a top-of-the-range product like this.

Il Kit Chromax on the other hand, it gives that accent which until now had been missing a Noctua to please everyone.

Personally, I find this to be the best heatsink I've ever tried. To aim for something better, you will need to roll up your sleeves and build a custom liquid system.

There aren't many products that can stand up to this NH-D15 who passes our tests with flying colors.
