Capcom has released new information dedicated toEvent siege of the Safi'jiiva, released today for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.

Safi'jiiva
The adult form of the Xeno'jiva. It absorbs energy from the environment that surrounds it, using it to heal its wounds and at the same time to change the ecosystem where it lives.
The siege of the Safi'jiiva
To start the event, players must have completed the Safi'jiiva reconnaissance mission and subsequently accepted The Red Dragon quest.
To start the quest you will have to contact the assistant designated to the Gathering Hub missions and join the siege of the Safi'jiiva.
Through the contribution that the various players will give they will receive prizes based on their participation in the battle.
New awakened weapons
By completing the Siege of Safi'jiiva, players will be rewarded with a new type of weapon called Awakened.
You will be able to get the Awakened version of practically every weapon, although these do not differ much from normal weapons, they allow players to upgrade them with more Awakening skills.
Along with that, new awakened abilities have been added that the player will be able to equip to the weapon.

The siege of the Safi'jiiva is already available for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne su Playstation 4 e Xbox One and will last until midnight on 5 January.
The Iceborne expansion is already available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and will be released on PC on January 9, 2020. While Monster Hunter World is already available for PC.
