MK11: Joker DLC - Easter Eggs, Entries of Doom and Brutality

Joker has landed in, and he brings all of his naughty antics with him. Like any character, Joker is full of optional moves you can equip, but he's a trickster character first and foremost. He can play from a distance with a variety of gadgets and setup moves to control the pitch, or you can just deliver a beat down with Joker's signature cane.

To celebrate his early release, we're going to dive into Fighter Joker to reveal his second hidden Fatality, brutalities, and talk about the many Easter Eggs hidden in character customization. There's a lot to be said for the Clown Prince of Crown, so let's sum up the Harlequin of the best hate stuff.

    Joker Easter Eggs

Joker's customization options are filled with references and Easter eggs for past iterations of the character. Her skins have tons of credentials, so let's go over which ones I picked instantly.

Clown Prince of Crime - This outfit is one of the 'Gotham' originals.

Forbidden laughter - The white costume appears in "Dark Knight Returns" by Frank Miller.

Master of Mayhem - A tribute to the Joker by Cesar Romero from the 'Batman' series from the 1960s.

Perverted Wisecracker - The monochrome costume matches one of Jack Nicholson's many costumes in Tim Burton's "Batman" movie adaptation.

When fighting Johnny Cage, Johnny states that he "doesn't want to know your origin story" - referring to the fact that Joker's true origins are (usually) a mystery in modern continuity.

    Fine you Joker

Joker's ridiculous ending is an elaborate MK canon joke! Joker (after killing Johnny Cage's Ninja Mime) meets an undead Havik. Along with Havik, Hsu Hao and Mileene invade Order Realm to wreak havoc. After that, Joker breaks the fourth wall and blows up the television.

Let's see why all of this is so incredibly ridiculous. First off, Havik and Hsu Hao are two of the franchise's worst Mortal Kombat characters. Whenever they reappear (like Hsu Hao appearing as a severed head in Erron Black's sack), it is specifically to dunk on them. Havik is a rejection of Chaos Realm - obviously Joker would love Chaos Realm!

The whole idea of the Fallen and the Realm of Chaos is a joke - two hilarious and horrifying realms with silly rules of silly Konquest story mode.

And finally, we have Mileena. He's a classic character, but one that Ed Boon constantly hunts fans with. She died in a previous game, and players are constantly asking for her return on Twitter. Putting her in the end of Joker is just another nail in Mileena's coffin, and a cruel joke to play on fans. It's always very funny.
