With Mars almost here, a lot of Pokémon Go fans have taken to speculating on what the next big Pokémon raid will be and what's new in the game. Right now, Reddit's big fire talk is the arrival of Genesect, the legendary Bug and Steel-type Pokémon.
The biggest clue for the arrival of Genesect Pokémon Go is the leak of the next special event titled A Drive to Investigate, which is expected to be a ticketed event. However, you will not be able to purchase the ticket using PokéCoins.
The information comes from PokeMiners, who shared the details on TheSilphRoad page Reddit. The event is scheduled to launch on March 22 from 10 a.m. to 20 p.m. in your local time zone. For those who remember the Regigigas event called A Colossal Discover announced in October 2019, which began in November 2019. Pokémon Go players were required to pay $ 7,99 for exclusive access to the event with ticket. If the supposed A Drive to Investigate event works the same, you can expect to pay the same amount and access a rare EX raid fight against Genesect.
Genesect was a fossil Pokémon that was revived by Team Plasma, first featured in Pokémon Black and White. The organization has augmented the Pokémon with several modifications, such as the cannon on the back, which allows it to know the Techno Blast movement. No other Pokémon can learn this move, and the attack varies depending on the type of computer drive it has, with four different types available. If there is no player on the Pokemon, the attack is normal type, with a burn player it is fire type, with a dice player it is a water type, with a shock drive, it's an electric type, and with a cooling drive, it's an ice type.
If Genesect makes it to Pokémon Go, it might be the only Pokémon capable of learning this move. It depends on how Niantic approaches the release of this Pokémon, as it could offer players a variety of choices if they can capture the Legendary Pokémon. It could be a special item to modify the attack that Genesect uses, or there could be a variety of different Genesect players to capture, with five different Techno Blast moves that have unique type attacks attached to them.
Unfortunately, this is largely speculation and has not been confirmed by developer Niantic. He has yet to comment on his website or official Twitter page. More information will be available soon, and tickets should be available fairly soon before the event ends. March is just around the corner, and we can't wait to move on to the next big Pokemon hunt.
