One of the small improvements, but one that frequent travelers will really appreciate, is the ability in iOS 15 to store expired tickets in Wallet so that you won't find them every time you open the app.

Sure, deleting them only takes a couple of seconds, but what's the need to do it manually? It seems that the year of the pandemic allowed Apple to think about this too, and from iOS 15 the system will take care of removing the expired tickets so that you can take the next transport or flight without interruption.
In the app Settings, inside Wallet e Apple Pay, there is a toggle to allow the app to hide overdue invoices (it is enabled by default). Users who prefer expired tickets to continue sharing space along with valid passes can disable the option.
With the arrival of iOS 15, Apple is making Wallet much more useful. In addition to digital boarding passes, tickets and digital car keys, users can now add digital house keys, which allow one-touch door opening (requires HomeKit compatible lock). It is also possible to add keys. the hotel room, etc.
As is often the case, the implementation of these new Wallet features will be patchy, and the US will certainly gain many advantages over the rest of the world in adopting the digital wallet as a way to create IDs, keys and transit tickets.
