By far the biggest draw of MLB The Show 20 is the Road to the Show mode. This is where you build a character and work your way through the MLB Draft and Minor Leagues to eventually reach the Big Leagues. However, getting there is not as easy as going through the moves in the mode. You will need to possess great patience and also develop a talent for MLB The Show's mechanics.
If you're having trouble getting called minors on Road to the Show (RTTS), don't worry because we've got you covered. Here are some tips to make sure you're called back sooner rather than later.
1. Focus on improving your overall stats
Perhaps the easiest way to switch to MLB is to increase your stats. You are given an overall level to start with, and it will increase or decrease, depending on your performance in games and training.
The best way to increase your overall rank is to play with your strengths and train your weaknesses. If your focus is on being a contact hitter, don't try to swing for the fences with every bat. Instead, try simple basic strikes, as this is where your stats are highest.

Of course, if you want to be a jack of all trades, you can boost your lower stats with training. Some training will become available throughout the season. These training courses will focus on a specific statistic. So try to complete the ones you are not yet good at to increase your overall level.
2. Play the story the right way
As is the case with any career mode, making the right decisions in the story will move you forward quickly. For example, if the coach of your minor league team wants you to try something different, take their offer. Also, extend olive branches to your teammates and don't choose the mean or sarcastic voice options. This will not only help you off the pitch, but also on the pitch.

MLB The Show The road to Show mode is all about making the right call at the right time. Sometimes a change of position may be necessary to be recalled more quickly. However, you can also stick to your positions and wait for an opportunity to present itself. It's ultimately up to you, but as long as you're actively trying to get called, MLB should come and call your number in a few seasons.
