One of the challenges of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 is dealing damage with the rest of a gatherer. You'll need to deal a total of 10000 damage, and it's a challenge that's recommended for four players. This means that if a teammate deals damage with a Gatherer, it will count towards your total.
To find the Gorgers, you'll have to look around the map carefully for a beam of red energy that marks where they spawn. It's a good idea to catch a Choppa early in the turn and look for it that way.
The Gorger is a large machine that will float just above the ground and spawn Gatherers. These little robots will find lasers on you and attempt to pick up random loot and bring it back to the Gorger.
When you destroy a Pickup, it will drop to the ground and you can pick it up. You have to do it quickly otherwise it will explode. When you pick it up, it transforms into a gun with two fire modes. One mode is semi-automatic and you can trigger it by pressing the fire button. The second mode is a charged shot that you can create by holding the fire button. This will do a lot of damage, but then will deplete the weapon and you will have to pick up another one.
You will not be able to carry the weapon during the entire game, it does not stay in your inventory and will disappear after a short time. As such, the best thing to do is actually the Gorger himself and the other Gatherers.

- Destroy Collectors (0/20) - 25000 XP
- Deal damage with the corpse of a gatherer (0/10000) - 50 XP
- Deal damage to opponents on Steamy Stacks (0/500) - 25000 XP
- Deal damage to opponents at Authority (0/500) - 25000 XP
