Pokemon Quest - Evolution Guide
If you're trying to evolve your Pokemon in Pokemon Quest, you'll have to train them to a certain level first. This can be done in a number of ways, with some of which can yield more than others. Let's start with the basics. How to level up Pokemon in Pokemon Quest
How to level Pokemon in Pokemon Quest
After gaining a certain amount of XP, the Pokemon will level up. You earn XP mainly through expeditions, with Pokemon on your team earning them as they fight. There are bonuses added at the end of each expedition, and you'll see how many XP have been earned. If you want to level up a pokemon faster, you can use the Level Training feature.
You can find this option in the menu of the Pokemon you wish to train, simply select the Pokemon and click on the Training menu. To level up your Pokemon, you'll need to add a few to train it. To do this, drag some Pokemon that you are not using in your active team into the support slots. If you can, use Pokemon of the same type as the one you are training because you will be given an XP bonus. During training you won't have access to any of the Pokemon involved, so make sure you choose wisely. You can speed up the process by spending PM tickets (you can read our ticket guide). Once the training is completed, your Pokemon will be leveled.
How to evolve Pokemon in Pokemon Quest
Once you reach a certain level, your Pokemon will automatically evolve. This level varies for each Pokemon, but it seems to be the same as the evolution level of the previous games. You will earn the extra stats of HP and ATK after leveling, so evolving your Pokemon is a good way to make it stronger. The only pokemon that evolves differently is Eevee, find all the details in our Guide on how to evolve Eevee in Pokemon Quest.
You can also prevent Pokemon from evolving into Pokemon Quest, you can do so using an everstone. This is an option available for each Pokemon, and you don't have to collect everstones like in other games. Instead, select a Pokemon and click the "OFF" tab in the upper right corner. This will then switch to "ON" as if you had given an everstone to the Pokemon. Now it won't evolve anymore. If you change your mind later and want to evolve a Pokemon, select "ON". We have included an image below that indicates exactly which button to press in the character menu.
