Ghost Recon Breakpoint is here. You can start playing now, and some of you might have been playing it for most of the week. There is a lot to do in the game. Some may seem overwhelming, but once you get your feet wet and dive into the game, you'll have fun fighting the Wolves and reclaiming Auroa Island.
However, not all of the islanders are there to look for you. When approaching NPCs, you may want to put your weapons away to show that you are not hostile. But can you put your guns away?
Can you put your gun in Reconpoint Breakpoint Holster
Unfortunately, players will not be able to put away their character's weapons while running around Auroa. Your guns are always going to be out and in your hands. The only time you can drop them is when using an item from your Quick Access inventory, such as a grenade, mine, or to heal yourself. Other than that, your character will be holding one of their three weapons in their arms.
Previously, players could store their weapon in the Wilds. When they did, the locals reacted positively to this reaction. Additionally, it gave players a wider field of view to look around the area they were in and get to the surroundings. It was a great way to take a peek at the magnificent views or sneak up an enemy to get a better view of their surroundings.
This feature may have been removed due to the hostile nature of Auroa. Almost everyone on the island is ready to take players down except for a handful of civilians who still operate from necessary Skrell facilities or centers.
If you hoped to gain influence with the locals, that won't happen. You can talk to NPCs you find in the world as some of them have essential information to share with you. However, you can only talk to them outside of combat. If you are in a fight, take out all enemies and come back to them when you are done.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
