Google Opinion Rewards is not an ATM that gives away money every now and then! The app e the service works thanks to user profiling via Google account: The more we do with the associated account, the more interesting we become to advertisers. So visiting many different shops and places will make you more “palatable”, showing you many more surveys. The classic Google Opinion Rewards survey will arrive a few hours after you leave a store or mall: it will ask you how your experience in one of the stores you visited went.
Getting more surveys is just a matter of commercial profiles: if you are uninteresting you will almost never be contacted.
GPS always active
One of the most underestimated things: the app is always active in the background to "understand" where you go and what you visit, but this tracking system will not work well if you don't have GPS on your smartphone.

The app and the service are able to understand the lies on the fly since they know exactly where you entered and where you passed. Google will notice the too sudden "change of tastes" (like a man who goes into a women's underwear store or a make-up shop more and more often) and will reduce the polls for the user in question.
