There are a lot of new things coming to Fortnite's latest software update, giving it a whole new look in Chapter 2. This change is the most significant players have seen in a long time. There is a whole new map, mechanics, and plenty of new challenges to complete in the game. With every good revamp, players will have access to an array of new weapons in the game.
New weapons in Fortnite chapter 2 update
Veteran players will notice that there are many weapons missing from the game. Epic Games have taken a handful of remarkable options, replacing them with updates or giving players new options for a variety of weapons. The Bandage Bazooka is a very useful weapon for the game. Thanks to it, a teammate can choose to equip this large weapon and shoot it at their allies. When they strike their partners, they will receive healing, thus giving a team member the ability to move around as the group healer. Players don't always have to find this weapon, but when it does appear it can come in handy.

Yes, the bazooka works during single player matches. All players need to do is aim and pull the trigger. It takes a bit of time to reload the weapon's healing abilities, but if you're willing to wait, you can genuinely help your team.
Here are the rest of the weapons currently in the game and what their rarities are to make it easier to find:
Usual, rare and rare weapons
- Assault rifle
- Burst assault rifle (three shots)
- Gun
- Shotgun
- Submachine gun
- Sniper rifle (bolt action)
- Tactical shotgun
Epic and legendary weapons
- Assault rifle (looks like a scar)
- Burst Rifle (Looks like an AUG)
- Bandage Bazooka (heals yourself and your allies, there is a charge on the weapon, no ammo)
- Pistol (looks like a modern version, with black coloring around)
- Shotgun (looks like an advanced 12 gauge weapon)
- Submachine gun (looks like a P90, with green trim)
- Sniper Rifle (looks like a last update, shoots more steadily)
These are the great weapons everyone is looking for in the Fortnite Chapter 2 update. Epic Games went in a different direction with their harder to find items by giving them an updated skin. Players aren't going to find an Epic or Rare weapon with less varied skin. These exclusive weapons only work for violable and gold items. This makes it easier for players to determine the type of weapon they are getting hit by another player.
The colors are still in the game. Standard gray, green, blue, purple, and gold are all there. These updated skins simply allow everyone to notice a difference visually.
This trend can be expected to continue in Chapter 2 and into the other seasons.
