Fortnite Chapter 2 arrived with less of a hit and more of an implosion. The map shrank, engulfed by the rocket explosion, leaving players in the dark for hours - a real splash for a second chapter and a new map.
When the lights returned, Fortnite transformed into Chapter 2. It came with a completely new map and locations. Unlike the first chapter and the first ten seasons, the map plays out more like an RPG map. First reported by IGN, players must discover landmarks for themselves. They will not be automatically filled in.
The named locations resemble the Tilted Towers or Dusty Depot from the previous chapter. Players discover them when entering the area.
How to find historic places?
The short answer to this question is: Explore.
The longer answer is more detailed. Landmark locations are different from named locations. After finding all the named positions, the map will remain incomplete. Players have yet to discover the gray dots on the map. Unlike named places, historic places don't fill up as quickly. The gray part of the map is a simple suggestion for the location of Landmark. Entering the zone does not automatically complete it. Players must find the landmark in question which is usually made up of buildings, such as a lighthouse or a house by a lake.
Fortis Insider and Forbes have some useful maps, and we've combined the two into one comprehensive map. If multiple landmark locations appear, we'll update our map.
At first it seemed like there were only ten historic places. Instead, there are many more. We haven't uncovered them all because Epic Games hid them to encourage players to explore the new map. These places are all over the map. You have to explore thoroughly.
The introduction of Landmark Locations and the incomplete map encourage players to explore more than in previous seasons. The main secret to finding anything in Fortnite Chapter 2 is exploration. He's a mechanic who is more comfortable in a role-playing game than in a battle royale. But it can help players meet more frequently.
