Arm Nemesis is the second legion you can try to recover. Astral chain. This foe is armed with mighty fists, and has some pretty surprising ranged attacks, and a few tricks up its sleeve. You also have to face some environmental risks in this fight that might trip you up a bit.
Astral Chain: How to Beat Arm Nemesis
Arm Nemesis can be a surprisingly tricky fight, and looks like a difficulty spike designed to test how carefully you've paid attention to your options in combat. This dude is the toughest boss you've come across so far, so get ready for an extended fight.
When fighting Arm Nemesis there are some things to consider, but the first is the weird gooey paste on the floor. You can get stuck in this, and it slows down your movement a lot. You don't want to be done with this, as Arm Nemesis will punish you severely by taking a large chunk of your health bar. Make sure to use your chain skipping movement if you get lost in it.
Arm Nemesis will pick up the pace more than any bosses you've encountered so far. While most of them have been designed to allow you to stay the distance that suits you, this boss has an aggressive attack where he will pull you towards him and then do a lot of damage to him. He also occasionally leaves a black hole, which will pull you and your Legion towards him, allowing him to do even more damage.
Keep an eye out for his attempts to grab you and use your Legion of Arrows and weapon to hurt him from a distance. When Arm Nemesis starts shooting at you with a laser attack, approach him and switch to Sword Legion and your baton to deal as much damage to him as possible. Use combos and Sync Attacks to really take advantage of that opening, then roll behind him and hit him with the Slash Attack. After you hit him twice, his strafing attack will end, so send your Legion as far as possible, then Chain.
Arm Nemesis can also do a spinning attack, where he becomes a cloud of fists and rushes towards you. It's a good idea to also use Chain Jump to dodge this attack, then switch to Arrow Legion and start taking it from a distance again.
To really shine in this fight, you'll have to constantly chain Jump and switch Legions to do some damage and keep yourself from getting trapped in this sticky mess on the floor. It may take a minute to get used to the frantic changes, but you shouldn't have a problem with this fight when you learn the best way to punish those long attack animations, and when you escape and use Arrow Legion.
