Windows 7, XP and Me are about to lose several Microsoft Internet games. The Redmond firm announces the end of support for certain titles, which will then no longer be playable. The ax will quickly fall on XP and Me, from July 31, 2021. Windows 7 users will still be able to enjoy it for six months.
Microsoft has announced the end of support for several “Internet” games available by default on older versions of its Windows operating system: 7, XP and Me. “End of support” here not only means that they will no longer receive update, but above all that they will no longer be playable at all, given that these are online games.

You can find the list of games affected by stopping tracking below. The titles mentioned will no longer work from July 31, 2021 for Windows XP and Me and from January 22, 2021 for Windows 7.

- Internet Hearts (XP/ME)
- Internet Reversi (XP/ME)

However, the time has come for us, as well as our hardware and software partners, to invest our resources in more recent technologies in order to be able to continue to offer new exceptional experiences ”, explains the Redmond firm.
Gradually, Microsoft is abandoning its little used services to focus on more current or future platforms and features. We remind you that the end of support for Windows 7 will take place on January 14, 2021, a few days before the disappearance of the Internet games mentioned above. The OS will then no longer receive security updates and there will be no more technical support.
