Call of Duty: Warzone is here, and the action is intense, with a number of cool additions to the series that give it enough flavor to set it apart from the last main series entry, Modern Warfare.
It allows up to 150 players in a single lobby in Solo, Duo or Trio to play against each other, with money to collect, contracts to complete, and people to fight in the Gulag after having been killed on the main map.
However, all is not well at the moment. When you enter the new game mode, the game may make you wait for a while, as the settings on each server currently seem to allow the game to start only when the lobby has reached full capacity. This may not be a problem when playing in a solo queue, but Duos and Trios in particular will likely be frustrated to find a match takes a long time to fill in the numbers.
There are also reports that the gaming lobbies are also bugged. This issue would cause players in the pre-match lobby to stay there even after launching the game server and stay there without being able to load into the game.
These two reasons, combined with the usual startup issues that are expected for online-only games at launch, are probably the reason why your game does not start until the lobby is full, if at all. There is also a question mark as to whether the issues are affecting the standalone version of the game as well, as the issues reported so far appear to be from the mode in Modern Warfare.
Considering the amount of marketing and hype surrounding the new game, the bugs are unlikely to be left for long, so expect them to be resolved during launch day.
