Darksiders: Genesis features war and strife, fighting side-by-side against the demon horde. Fans of the show are likely already familiar with the other character, War, from the first game, and the voice actor is returning to reprise his role. Strife has a new voice actor for this game, however.
Conflicts first appeared in Darksiders 3. He shows up during the battle against Fury and Lust. Lust evokes the illusion of The Brothers of Fury during the fight, and Phil Lamar provides the voice. However, for Darksiders: Genesis, The Argument is voiced by Chris Jai Alex.
A flawless stay
Alex has appeared in several notable video games, usually in the background. For example, he gave his voice talent to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Kingdom Hearts 3, Resident Evil 2, he voiced Champ Ace Combat 7: Unknown Skies, and was a multiplayer announcer for Call of Duty. : Black Ops 4. He's ready to lend his voice as Jackal in Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons, a DC animated film.
You can expect to see Alex play more roles in the future, and he plays the role of Strife exceptionally very well. Strife stands out from The Other Horsemen because he's the only one who doesn't own a melee weapon, preferring to use two handguns named Mercy and Redemption. Both of these handguns showed in the former in Darksiders and the latter in Darksiders 2.
Because Darksiders: Genesis takes place before the numbered Darksiders in games, Strife's whereabouts remain unknown, but we might learn more at the end of the game. His siblings, War, Death, and Fury, all tried to find out what had happened to him without success.
If all goes well, if we learn of his fate, Alex will return as Strife in the final installments of the Darksiders franchise.
