The Flare is an extremely useful and rare PUBG item. If used, you can summon a drop at your location, giving you access to a selection of high-quality items from the drop. The downside to using one is that it reveals your location. If you're trying to hide from enemy players, you might not want to use it. But if the rewards outweigh the rewards, or if you must use to complete a challenge.
There is no separate location where you can find a flare in the. They are scattered all over the map, mainly in the big cities. You're unlikely to find them in any of the smaller, less active slots on any of the maps. If you look at a location and believe that there is going to be a lot of activity from other players, the odds are relatively high that that location could contain a flare.
You can find a flare on the Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok maps. It's up in the air if you can locate it on Karakin's map, given its small size and the limited time players have to find anything on it. There were a handful of locations on Vikendi, the Snow Map when it was live, but PUBG Corporation has since removed the location.
