Drip rock stars continue with two more legendary animals added to the roster: the legendary Ridgeback Spirit Bear and the legendary Owiza Bear. Bears are already formidable in the world of Red Dead Online, but Legendary Bears are another level of intimidation.
Bears can be sedated and sampled and their samples sold to Harriet for a small profit. Samples work for greater profit. Just like the Collector role, samples belong to collections and once the collection is complete they can be exchanged for a larger amount of money.
For those who prefer to have new outfits, bears can also be sold to Gus. The money earned by selling the bearskin goes directly to Gus when you buy the coats.
The choice does not matter because the bears will eventually reappear and can be encountered again.
The Legendary Ridgeback Spirit Bear
The Legendary Ridgeback Spirit Bear is in the Red and Blond category. It is a pale bear with a red stripe on its back. It can be found along the Little Creek River during the day and prefers clear, clear weather. It will most likely retreat at night, although as with all legendary animals it can still be found outside of its ideal spawning times, it's just less likely.
The legendary bear Owiza
The legendary Owiza bear is a dark patterned animal found along the Dakota River. It prefers to be outdoors at night and prefers to hunt during heavy rains. He, like other legendary animals, can still spawn outside of this window for particularly lucky players.
How to find legendary bears
There is no guarantee that bears will reproduce, even if all conditions are met. If you're looking for the legendary Ridgeback Spirit Bear, place your camp in Big Valley and keep replacing it, or join new sessions to save money, until it's placed somewhere close to the spawn. If you are looking for the Owiza bear, set your camp in the Heartlands and keep replacing him or joining sessions until he is near the spawn locations.
Clear the area of other events: Moonshine Bootlegger missions; Meetings with strangers; Hideouts. This will be easier for those who live near Little Creek River than for those who run along the Dakota River.
Both animals have set spawning points where they are most likely to appear. Mark them on your map and check the area at ideal times, but don't be discouraged if they don't appear. We couldn't get the legendary Red Streak Coyote despite ideal conditions for weeks.
