One of the most anticipated additions that the Isle of Armor DLC brings to Pokémon Sword and Shield are the new cosmetic options. However, downloading the DLC alone will not automatically give you the new options. To unlock them you need to get the style card.
How to get the style card
When you arrive at the Isle of Armor and exit the station, a senior dojo trainer will challenge you. In Pokémon Shield, you'll face off against psychic-type trainer Avery again, and Pokémon Sword, you'll face off against poison-type trainer Klara.
If you beat them, they'll give you the style card.

The style card will add more options to the shops as well as the lounge back to the mainland. The first time you arrive with the style card, the salesperson will explain to you how new options will be added: new clothes in the boutiques and new hairstyles in the salon.
Image via Game FreakAll new options will be indicated by a rectangle covered with sparkles, indicating that the option is only available because you have the style card. Beware though: you can't wear hats with the new hairstyles.
