The LG Signature OLED 65G6V television has an option previously unseen on Oled televisions: the possibility of cleaning the screen of any possible markings.
In the "Parameters of the OLED panel", the manufacturer LG has added an option allowing "to erase the noise" - understand here the marking of the panel. The interface also specifies that marking can occur if the television has been left on for a long time. From experience, this marking often occurs at the level of the logos of TV channels. If you only watch one channel and the logo does not change, it may end up appearing on other images. After eight hours of exposure, we had managed to slightly mark the previous generations, but the residual image was gone in less than five minutes. We had repeated an even longer test and the residual image always disappeared - nothing to do with some plasma televisions, therefore.
Some details on cleaning.
The records are inactive during the operation.
The integration of an option allowing the cleaning of the panel will reassure future owners of Oled televisions about any marking problems. The entire operation takes about an hour, during which time you should not use the TV. Otherwise, the operation is canceled and you have to start over from the beginning. During the operation, the TV remains off and we did not notice the appearance of white line as claimed by LG. This option allows you to find the Oled slab as on the first day.
