Supernova Mode The Outer World - Everything You Need To Know

The Outer Worlds is out right now. If you are keen on getting into the game, here's your chance to experience Obsidian Entertainment's all-new sci-fi RPG. You'll notice that it looks suspiciously like a Fallout title, and it's awesome. There is nothing wrong with that at all. Some players fully enjoy the challenges during these intense RPGs. The hardest difficulty in the game is called Supernova mode. Here's what you need to know before you dive one-on-one.

The Outer Worlds Supernova Mode - Everything You Need To Know

Sometimes the developers hide the more difficult difficulties behind a wall, forcing players to complete the game at least once before attempting it. Not in The outer worlds. For all those who wish to experience the game in its most difficult difficulties with a multitude of challenges making it even more intense, you have the possibility to start it from the first minute of your jump.

Players will find things to improve when they step in. Here are all the significant changes:

  • Enemies will hit a lot harder and have more health.
  • Players must drink, eat, and sleep to play the game or deal with the consequences.
  • If a companion is shot, he definitely dies
  • If a player paralyzes their body or limb, they can only heal it with proper bed rest
  • Zero durability weapons and armor are almost inefficient to use
  • Players can only quickly return to their ship. They cannot quickly browse the map.
  • Players can only rest on their ship. They cannot sleep in other beds or other areas of the game.
  • Players can only manually register on their ship. They can't save when they're in the middle of nowhere. The game always records automatically, but more rarely.

The biggest issue with the Supernova difficulty is the fact that players are going to rely heavily on their ship. It will behave like home on all levels. If they want to save and shut down the game overnight, they have to go back. If their body parts are damaged or broken, they must return to the ship for treatment. The only place a player can get to faster is their ship, which makes it more difficult to move around the map.

Not only that, but players are going to have to watch how much they eat, drink and sleep. If they don't take the time to sleep, they will find that their character will be much less useful for doing actions. The same goes for a drink.

Additionally, traditionally, if a companion breaks down, a player can revive it and get it back. However, with Supernova, the companions have the change to die permanently. It is essential that players take them with them to complete their tasks. Companions are handy, so it makes sense.

For players who like tough trials, you can get it immediately when you step into the new Obsidian game. There is a lot to do and they didn't stop with the settings. Players are going to win the end of their game, and if that's your thing, we can't encourage you enough to give Supernova a try in The Outer Worlds.

I'll stick with my "normal" difficulty, however.
