Shovel Knight: Showdown - How to unlock everything | Guide to permanent and temporary cheaters

There are two special codes you can use, and they are perfect for playing with friends or hosting your own tournament. Any of these codes won't even ruin your progress if you really want to unlock everything but also have a friendly match with your friends. It's basically the perfect solution to a long-standing problem - when you get a new fighting game, no one wants to unlock every character every time.

There are two unlock codes. One permanently unlocks everything and the other temporarily unlocks everything - the game will not save, so after resetting you will lose everything "everything" and start over where you left off. It's the best version of both worlds for me because it's not too hard to unlock all the cool stuff from. Slowly revealing everything is great, but no one wants to be limited when playing with guests. Here's how to use both codes.

If you want to unlock all the legitimate extras, here's how to unlock each character's.

How to unlock everything | List of cheat codes

To unlock everything in the game, you just need to enter a few simple cheat codes. There are two codes - one unlocks everything permanently and the other unlocks everything temporarily.

These codes will unlock everything in the game - all secret characters, bonus stages, palettes, and costumes. The only difference is how they affect your backup file.

The temporary cheat will only unlock everything for a limited time. Saves will be disabled and you will revert to your old progress once you quit and reload. The permanent cheat will modify your save file, so everything will always be unlocked.

  • Shovel Knight: Cheat Codes For Slaughter
    • Unlock all (temporary): From the title screen, hold (Cancel) and type Up, Up, Right, Down, Left, Left
    • Unlock everything (permanent): From the title screen, hold (Cancel) and type Up, Up, Left, Up, Up, Right, Up, Down, Up

If done correctly, you'll have everything unlocked - that means you won't have progress goals, but you won't have to spend a lot of time unlocking characters to play with friends.

There's only a small selection of things at the start, but you can unlock a lot more just by exploring each character, going through story modes, and generally having fun. It's not too complicated, so I recommend that you only use the temporary cheat - but, it's all up to you.
