LG Q8 if you present with an aluminum body with plastic inserts and a 5,2 inch IPS display, protected by Gorilla Glass 4. To characterize it, however, is the presence of a second display, placed next to the front camera, with a resolution of 160 ร— 1040 pixels.

I know, the first impact is not the best, but, trust me, this second screen is more practical and intuitive than you think. Not only is it Always-On and allows you to check the time and notifications without unlocking your smartphone, but home some handy shortcuts that allow you to access the functions you use most, such as turning Bluetooth on and off, the ability to disable the ringer, quick access to settings or to the camera.

Of course, it's all completely customizable. To do this you will have to go to the menu dedicated to the second screen and indulge yourself with the available options.

After a few days of use you will realize how useful it really is.

Only one (fixable) defect

Multimedia is then entrusted to an audio that uses the Quad DAC when you connect headphones and earphones and to one dual rear camera that brings with it the always fascinating wide angle.

Unfortunately the operating system is Android 7.0, a definitely questionable choice by LG. Considering the price of this smartphone - 499 Euros - I would have expected at least a 7.1. Don't worry though: LG could remedy this by updating the smartphone directly to Android 8.0.
