Realme has recently presented its new top-of-the-range smartphone Realme GT, equipped with 5G connectivity and many other really cool features. On the occasion of the presentation, the company also took the opportunity to show two new smartwatches and a robot vacuum cleaner, the first experiment in this direction for the company.
Realme GT: design and performance
The new Realme GT makes use of the chip Snapdragon 888, in combination with a memory RAM from 8 or 12 GB, depending on the version we choose. Storage space, on the other hand, settles on solids 128 or 256 GB, useful for not having to go crazy with the management of particularly heavy files or applications.
Realme developers seem to be betting on the gamer market segment, given that during the conference the GT mode was confirmed, a useful function to maximize the performance of the phone and able to guarantee a higher frame rate when using mobile games.
This feature is accompanied by the display, characterized by one screen from 6,43 ″ making use of a Super AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. All this to ensure the highest possible definition.
As for the camera, we have one three sensor configuration: The main one uses the 682-megapixel Sony IMX64, the ultra-wide-angle lens has a resolution of 8 megapixels, and finally, the macro lens is 2-megapixel. Night shooting has also been improved thanks to a new algorithm developed by the company.
Realme has confirmed on the official website that the 8 GB RAM model will be available for purchase on 21 and 22 June at 399 euros instead of 449 euros. The top of the range will also receive the same treatment: 499 euros instead of 599 euros in the same two days.
The smartwatches and the robot vacuum cleaner
For the occasion, Realme has also announced two new smartwatches: Watch 2 e Watch 2 Pro. The Pro version will boast a 1.75 ″ AMOLED screen, and will have excellent customization options, with more than 100 new dials to choose from. There are also 90 sports modes and the possibility of geo-localization via GPS or GLONASS.
The basic version, called Watch 2, will naturally be cheaper but will have fewer functions and a smaller display. Realme Watch 2 Pro will cost 74,99 euros, while the base model 54,99 euros.
Surprisingly, Realme also presented his first robot vacuum cleaner, belonging to the TechLife range. The little robot uses 38 different sensors to move and recognize the various obstacles along its path, and also uses a lidar system to carry out a complete mapping of the various rooms of the house in which it is placed.
