- In Trainer Battles, the switch menu has been replaced with two buttons on the right side of the screen to make it easier to access Pokémon you can switch to during your battles.
- In Trainer Battles, the camera angle of the shift animation has changed so that you can see your Pokémon's HP bar when your opponent changes Pokémon.
- Soon, battle teams will be saved to your account itself rather than your device, which means they'll be synced when you reinstall the game or switch devices.
- Slightly slowed down the flying-type charged attack mini-game
- You can now navigate from a Pokémon's details page directly to its Pokédex entry
- You can now navigate from a Pokédex entry directly to Pokémon storage to see all the Pokémon you have of that species
- Soon you will be able to see more information about Pokémon that you get on the Pokémon details page. Note that this will not populate the Pokémon information you obtained prior to this feature.
- A new loading screen has been added

- Fixed an issue that caused invited friends to be removed from a raid if all Pokémon in their battle group passed out
- Fixed an issue where the 'Remove Friend' button was cut off from the bottom of the friend details page on devices with certain aspect ratios
- Fixed an issue that prevented Adventure Sync from working on some devices running Android 9 and earlier
- Fixed a visual error that showed eggs were incubating when tapping them in the Eggs menu whether or not they were in incubators
- Fixed an issue that caused the app to crash when collecting avatar items from Special Research rewards
- Fixed an issue that prevented victories from being recorded correctly in GO Battle League
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Pokémon CP Best Buddy boost from being applied without first interacting with your Buddy
- Fixed an issue where the Account Link option was missing in the Settings menu
